Hailey's Bio

My name is Hailey Pomara, and I am from Center Moriches and a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist. I am a graduate of St. John’s University with a Bachelor’s in Sport Management and a Minor in Communications. While I majored in Sports, I am very familiar with Youth Ministry, and working closely in the church office which has been a deep passion. At my home parish, I was an Altar Server for six years, an active Youth Ministry program member, and a Vacation Bible Camp volunteer for several summers. I was heavily involved in our Campus Ministry department throughout my four years in college. My time with Campus Ministry included service with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. I also served as the Social Media Coordinator and Secretary for the group in my last two years of college. In addition, I served as a Campus Ministry Student Assistant for Liturgy and the Music Department. With my extensive experience working in a church setting, I am excited to begin this new chapter as your new Youth Minister!
