Erika Ramos has been an active parishioner at St. Anthony of Padua since her arrival to East Northport in October of 2020. She was born in Colombia and grew up in Astoria, Queens where in her youth, she was a Eucharist Minister, CCD Catechist and Director of the Hispanic Youth Ministry at Most Precious Blood Parish. She graduated from CUNY at Hunter College with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a minor in Communications and Accounting. As an adult, she lived in Jersey City, NJ where she actively participated in St. Aloysius’ Social Ministry and Confirmation program. Although she has over 25 years of professional experience in the health management field, her passion is serving her community. She has coordinated the RE program in Spanish since it was established by Father Ed in 2022 and has served as Catechist. She is also the Co-director of the Social Ministry and VIRTUS Coordinator for the Hispanic Community here at St. Anthony of Padua. Most recently, she was elected president of the Fr. Thomas A. Judge Columbiettes for 2026-2027. Erika is very grateful and eager to bring her skills and enthusiasm in teaching our students the importance of keeping the Catholic faith alive!
